About Greg

Greg is in his first year broadcasting for the Bellingham Bells of the West Coast League, and is thrilled that he gets to spend the whole summer watching and talking about baseball! He just wrapped up his freshman year at Gonzaga University, where he is majoring in broadcast studies and minoring in journalism and political science.

He started broadcasting live sports at age 15 for his high school in Lake Oswego, OR, and eventually ended up running the student-run sportscasting program, "Laker Broadcasting." Through three years at LOHS, he called over 85 football, basketball, and baseball games and was part of over 100 live broadcasts. In that time, he also reported for two local radio stations and interned for a minor league baseball team. He spent last summer as the PA Announcer for the Spokane RiverHawks of the WCL (exited the league this summer).

Currently, he provides play-by-play for Whitworth University (D-III) women's basketball and baseball, writes for The Slipper Still Fits, the official Gonzaga sports fan website, and will join the www.IdahoSports.com broadcast team this fall to call Post Falls HS football and basketball. His dream is to one day be a part of the broadcasting team for his beloved San Francisco Giants.
